This is your chance to explore world-leading SNSPD performance in your own lab and showcase what your team can achieve. Submit your research proposal and tell us what you would do with three months of SNSPD access.

• A full three-month demo period with an SNSPD system and a Sumitomo CNA-11 compressor (Sept–Nov)
• The ability to integrate world-class SNSPD performance into your experiments

Proposal Requirements 

1. Specifications Reference 
   Possible SNSPD specifications can be found in the brochures available on the SQ website: https://www.singlequantum.com/solutions/excellence-line/, https://www.singlequantum.com/solutions/imaging-line/, https://www.singlequantum.com/technology/interleaved-detectors/ . Please note that the system includes a compressor and vacuum pump. It does not include a time tagger.  

2. Proposal Guidelines 

• Maximum length: 1,000 words (excluding citations and required specifications). 

• The proposal must clearly explain why SNSPDs are advantageous you’re your proposed application compared to other single-photon detectors. 

• Include the following sections:  

a. Title (complete and descriptive) 
b. Name & Affiliation 
c. Abstract 
d. Experimental Setup 
e. Expected Benefits of Using SNSPDs 
f. Required SNSPD Specifications, including:  

• Number of detectors 

• Wavelength 

• Timing jitter 

• System Detection Efficiency (SDE) 

• Maximum count rates 

• Dark count rates 

• Detector type: single pixel, interleaved, array. 

3. Visuals 
   Include any relevant images or diagrams that help explain your concept.
