The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and the European Space Agency (ESA) are hosting a workshop for experts in quantum computing and satellite quantum communication. The event aims to foster collaboration between researchers and industry to explore architectures, technologies, and challenges of satellite Quantum Information Networks (QIN) for long-distance quantum connectivity. By bringing together a diverse group of experts, the workshop seeks to identify promising approaches and contribute to ESA and FFG’s vision for advancing satellite-based quantum networks.
